Welcome to Rhodes’ Sourdough Co. — where artisan bread, seasonal blooms, and a love for creating from scratch come together.
What started as a passion for baking slowly grew into something much bigger: a small Vermont-based business centered around craftsmanship, creativity, and honest ingredients. From naturally fermented sourdough breads to carefully grown dahlias, everything we offer is made with intention, patience, and heart.
Our bakery specializes in handcrafted sourdough breads, pastries, and small-batch baked goods inspired by bold flavors and simple, quality ingredients. We believe food should feel comforting, beautiful, and memorable — whether it’s a warm loaf shared around the table or a seasonal treat picked up at the farmers market.
Alongside baking, we’ve fallen deeply in love with growing dahlias. Each season, we cultivate specialty varieties with the same care and attention we give our bread. We offer dahlia tubers and rooted cuttings for fellow flower lovers, gardeners, and anyone wanting to bring more beauty into their spaces.

“I got cupcakes from this bakery for my birthday and they were seriously amazing! I ordered the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and they tasted so good. Not only were they delicious, but they also looked great too. Each cupcake was wrapped individually, which gave them a really cute rustic vibe that I loved.
They were packaged in a bakery box that held up really well, which made transporting them easy. The timing worked out perfectly and I didn’t have to wait at all. They were even willing to meet up, which was super helpful, but I ended up just going to them instead. I’ll definitely be going back again for more yummy cupcakes and to try some of their other baked goods!
